Established in 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto provides a “home away from home” for seriously ill children and their families. The families served – 3,200 last year alone – come from throughout Ontario, across Canada and around the world. RMHC Toronto is an independent charity, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and operated by staff and volunteers. The first and largest House in Canada, RMHC Toronto is part of a network of more than 350 Houses worldwide.
RMHC Toronto keeps families close when they need each other the most. The Rescue 7 team headed downtown on November 23rd to cook for those families in an effort to make their day even a little bit easier. We had such a wonderful and inspiring time getting to know the brave families living there during this holiday season.
